Every piece is bespoke, custom-manufactured to specific client dimensions, material selections, and artistic forms. In accordance with international trade standards and governing laws, once physical swatches are signed off and technical production commences, each commission becomes unique and non-refundable without cause.

We guarantee absolute commercial transparency. The total figure confirmed on your Proforma Invoice fully encompasses engineering drafting, material prototyping, fabrication, custom ISPM 15 wooden crating, and baseline cross-border logistics under agreed Incoterms (DDP/DAP). Barring client-initiated written change orders, Opengoods never bills additional material waste or hidden ancillary surcharges.

Once technical production has commenced, client-requested alterations in dimensions, substrate, or surface finishes require feasibility and lead-time re-audits. Modifications become effective only upon mutual written execution of an Engineering Addendum and price adjustment settlement, with delivery schedules recalibrated from that date.

Standard artisanal production spans 60–90 business days, commencing on the business day following mutual physical sample sign-off or finalized digital parameter validation.

Delay indemnities apply specifically to factory manufacturing timelines. For non-force-majeure delays, compensation accrues at 0.3% of the affected product value per calendar day (credited against final balance), capped at 15% of the line-item total. Should delays exceed 20 calendar days, the client maintains the right to unilateral cancellation with 100% refund.

All export crating strictly adheres to International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM 15). Consignments feature reinforced fumigation-free composite crates, tailored full-wrap shock-absorbent EPE foam cavities, and sealed vapor barriers to withstand maritime transit.

Shipping delays induced by destination customs inspections, quarantine holds, or port strikes fall outside factory delay penalties. The buyer bears full responsibility for pre-validating architectural clearances (doors, elevators, stairwells). If clearance limitations necessitate external hoisting, warehousing, or re-delivery, associated costs remain with the purchaser.

To eliminate display calibration and lighting variances in cross-border coordination, physical swatch kits (timber sections, semi-aniline swatches, finish plaques) mutually countersigned serve as the definitive standard for pre-shipment sign-off.

Should testing by an accredited independent laboratory (SGS, TÜV, or CNAS/CMA equivalents) confirm intentional material substitution or fraudulent downgrade, Opengoods refunds 100% of received funds. Upon local supervised disposal with documented proof, we provide an additional 100% punitive compensation and reimburse testing fees.

Mineral streaks, grain shifts in natural hardwoods, and organic scarring in top-grain leathers represent natural authentic signatures. Overall silhouette tolerances adhere strictly to ≤ ±3mm with joints within ≤ 0.5mm. For Customer’s Own Material (COM), our studio guarantees assembly integrity but assumes no liability for fabric aging or wear characteristics.

A 1-year comprehensive factory warranty begins upon confirmed receipt. For non-accidental structural instability or hardware failure under normal indoor residential environments, Opengoods provides factory replacement components, repair subsidies, or complete unit exchange. Accidental impact, corrosive chemicals, and outdoor exposure are excluded.

Every creation features an embedded laser-engraved serial code on its base and includes an official Opengoods Certificate of Authenticity. Post-warranty, clients enjoy lifetime factory advisory, at-cost international replacement hardware, and restoration guidance.

All bespoke pieces (including sculptural silhouettes, structural joints, parametric models, and design schematics) are protected globally under the Berne Convention and relevant design patents held by Opengoods and contracted independent studios.

Acquisition confers physical ownership and display rights. Exploiting pieces via 3D scanning, reverse engineering, casting, or derivative commercial manufacture is strictly prohibited. Opengoods reserves full rights to seek international injunctive relief and damages in relevant jurisdictions.

Operating in strict adherence to global privacy regulations (including GDPR), all client contact coordinates, architectural floor plans, and spatial photography are utilized exclusively for engineering assessments and logistics, never leased or disclosed to commercial third parties.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, with the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) expressly excluded. Any unresolved disputes shall be submitted to the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) for final binding resolution, enforceable globally under the 1958 New York Convention.
